In my opinion Metz is able to avoid loss today. They have bigger chances to do it than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

Metz likes to play on away against Le Havre as they didn't lost at this stadium in last 5 consecutive matches in all competitions.

Metz defensive midfielder Maiga is suspended, but other defensive midfielder Jacques coming back from suspension. On the other hand Le Havre today will start without their two best assistants: central defender Lloris (1 goal + 2 assists) and striker Kitala (2 goals + 2 assists).

Of course, Le Havre situation on the paper looks good, they lost only once (6 wins in 12 matches). In last weeks they played against teams from bottom half of the table and despite positive results they had huge problems with finishing product. In last round they failed to win on away against poor Rodez from relegation zone (1:1) - Le Havre scored by own goal. They had a lot of luck in current season, already 4 penalty kicks awarded for them. I don't see them as promotion material and I expect worse period sooner or later.

Metz have been relegated from Ligue 1 and obviously their main goal for current season is to bounce back to the highest level soon as possible. From what I saw they improved a lot in last matches: fully deserved win at home against Pau, then they lost on away against Bordeaux, but that was very close match and is not shame at all to lose against lader of the table. In last round Metz played at home against 2nd Sochaux, match finished with draw 0:0, but Metz really deserved for something more as they missed couple good chances to score. Looks like everything slowly clicking together under experience manager Laszlo Boloni.

At this stage of the season promotion is still possible for Metz and I expect another positive result today with raise in league table. They have all required tools to play football on very high level in Ligue 2 standards.
