Newcastle United vs Everton

Newcastle is a big project for the future and they are doing the right moves to become a great team in the near future and even they are sitting in 6th place they are playing better than the table suggest, they just have been very unlucky in some of their games that they draw but in the last 3 games we are starting to see this team getting in shape, they beat Fulham on the road by 4:1, than at home they beat Brentford by 5:1 and in the last game they had a 0:0 draw on the road against Manchester United, but don't get it twisted, Newcastle was the better team and could have won that game, they were unlucky, especially Joelinton who hit the post twice in a row. At home Newcastle has been very strong even they only have 2 wins and 3 draws in 5 home games, all those draws they were the better squad and could have won if they were more effective and that includes the 3:3 draw against Manchester City were they played amazing. Newcastle is a team who has been hit by the injurie bug during the start of their season but things are getting better but they still miss some players like Darlow, Isak, Ritchie and Krafth. St-Maximin is also doubtful for the game.

This Everton team is kinda poor, I don't really like their Coach and also their squad is nothing special, they don't create many scoring chances and play more a defensive approach and their firepower in the attack comes pratically from Gordon who will be back after his suspension, but that's the only good news for them because they will have issues against this Newcastle team who is rock solid on defense and who have great talent in the attack and will put Everton's defensive line to the test. Everton had a stretch were they won 2 very important games in a row but that was against their level of competition, after that they lost at home to Manchester United and on the road against Tottenham and this Newcastle team is on that level too, so I expect Everton to struggle here too. For this game Everton is without Mina, Godfrey, Townsend, Patterson and Holgate.

I expect Newcastle to control this game like they always do at home, like I said, even their home record is only 2 wins and 3 draws they always were the better team, they just missed a lot in those games but lately we are seeing improvement in that department, especially since Wilson recovered from injury Newcastle attack has been more effective scoring 9 goals in their last 3 games. Newcastle defensive line has been the best in the league, they have the best defense with 9 goals suffered in 10 games, but that includes 3 goals from Manchester City, so against the lower competition they don't really suffer many goals against and Everton is a poor attacking team, I don't think that Everton will give Newcastle much trouble on defense but overall Everton plays an defensive approach what makes their defensive line hard to break but Newcastle have the mid-field and attack to do it, if they are effective with the chances that they will create Newcastle should take the 3 points here, I see Newcastle beating Everton by 1:0 or 2:0.
