解读理由

The defeat against Kortrijk was the first defeat that Antwerp experienced in the ten rounds played so far in the Belgian league. Today they are welcoming St. Truiden on their field and we can expect a game with a lot of goals. Antwerp, led from the bench by the well-known Mark van Bommel, plays extremely offensive football and scores almost three goals per game on average. They are outstanding at home and have all five wins from five games played. Although two important strikers, Michael Frey and Michel-Ange Balikwisha, have been out for a long time, this has not affected the offensive performance so far. This is mainly due to the very good performance of Vincent Janssen. The Dutchman joins Gent's Hugo Cuypers as the top-scorer in Belgium's top flight with seven goals in ten league games. In addition to a more than good attack, Antwerp can also boast of an extremely good defense, which has conceded only eight goals in ten games so far, and according to that parameter, they are the best in the league. Great security in the middle of the field is also provided by the experienced Radja Nainggolan, who can easily surprise the opponent's goalkeeper with his fantastic shot. Antwerp does not have an imperative to win this match, it is only the beginning of the season, but according to the games they have shown so far, they will surely want to return to the winning way as soon as possible.

According to everything shown so far, St. Truiden will not be an easy opponent. They play very well away from home and can boast of the fact that they are undefeated in their last five away games. In the previous part of the championship, they recorded three victories, but they managed to do that only against teams ranked lower than them, while they have a lot of difficulties with the teams that are at the top of the table. They have rather inconsistent games and in the last round they were defeated by Eupen, a team that has only two wins out of nine rounds played. They are quite modest in attack and on average score exactly one goal per game, and against the best defense in the league they will have to play much better in attack than they have done so far. Their best player is undoubtedly Gent loanee Bruno, who has scored four goals so far. They certainly know that in Antwerp and if they manage to stop him, St.Truiden will be left with no other options in attack. As I already said, Antwerp will not have an easy task in this match, but I honestly believe that they are a much better team than the guests and that they will manage to win here.
