The most interesting match in the seventh round of the Bundesliga will certainly be the match between Dortmund and Schalke, but due to the too unpredictable game of Dortmund, I really do not dare to make the same predictions about that game. That's why I decided on this one, which I believe has a better chance of passing. Monchengladbach and Leipzig, perhaps somewhat unexpectedly, are in the middle of the table. Certainly, the fans of both teams expected better results from their teams so far. Both teams had a rather turbulent start to the season, but in my opinion, Monchengladbach opened the new season in a slightly better way. One defeat in six games is certainly a very good result in a very high-quality league such as the Bundesliga. Due to a slightly worse game at the end of last season, today's home team failed to secure participation in European competitions. It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad sign for this season, considering that they have more time to prepare for the matches in the domestic championship. This season, Monchengladbach plays very careful football and managed to score only six goals, but on the other hand, they have the second-best defense with just five goals conceded, along with Freiburg and Bayern. Great credit for the small number of conceded goals certainly goes to the fantastic Yann Sommer, who has been on very high level for years, and against Bayern Munich he managed to set a record with as many as 19 shots saved towards his goal.

After poor results at the beginning of the season, the management of Leipzig decided to replace the coach and hire Marco Rose as the new coach. This is a man who knows today's opponent very well, considering that he coached them for two years. It is too early to talk about the impact he had on Leipzig's game because under his leadership they played only two games, they recorded a victory against Dortmund and a defeat against Real Madrid. The defeat against Real Madrid was the third defeat in a row for Leipzig on the away field and it is clear that they have difficulties when they play away from their stadium. There is no doubt that Leipzig has a very high quality team, players like Nkunku, Forsberg, Werner are certainly world class players, but they are also flesh and blood people and they enter this match only three days after a very hard match in Madrid. As in the match against Real, Rose will not be able to count on Dani Olmo in this match, which is certainly a significant deficiency in Leipzig's attacking game. With two very difficult games in a short period of time and with a new coach whose playing style they still need to get used to, I honestly don't see Leipzig as a clear favorite in this match. The atmosphere in the stadium will be fantastic and I believe that the support from the stands will be a significant factor for Monchengladbach in their attempt to achieve a positive outcome in this match.
