Djurgarden has had an incredibly strong season and is just one point behind Hacken in the Allsvenskan. This weekend they played an incredibly important derby against Hammarby, which ended 0-0. A result Djurgarden are probably very happy with, as it means keeping Hammarby 4 points away for the time being. However, the point against Hammarby came with a bitter aftertaste, as Hjalmar Ekdal was forced to step off at the end of the match. He thus misses the Europa Conference League match against Molde this Thursday and was also forced to withdraw from this week's national team meeting. Against Molde, it is Djurgrden that are the narrow favourites, even if that is something I doubt. Molde is going fantastically strong in the Eliteserien, where they have lined up 8 straight victories. They played 0-0 against Gent in the first round and were the team that came closest to victory. A few days before that match, they defeated their arch-rivals 4-1 away from home. Djurgarden continues to achieve good results, but it's a long season and the tight schedule are starting to take its toll a little. They only barely won against Sirius, they had to settle for crosses against Shamrock Rovers and they were the worse team against Hammarby. Not bad efforts, but worse than what we are used to seeing from Djurgarden this season. Therefore bet falls on Molde not to lose this game, as I see drawi as the most possible outcome.
