Gameday in Genk for the second round between Genk & Standard.

Genk will be without Onuachu. Ito left to France so he will not be there.

On their side Standard will be without Calut because of his red card on the previous game. Tapsoba & Bokadi are injured. Ngoy is doubtful.

On their first game of the season, Genk faced the best team in Belgium, Brugge, they lost 3-2 but they played very good and they also were unlucky about some decision of the referees.

On their side Standard made a draw against Gent, 2-2, it was a very good result for them as they were with 10. We could see that Amallah is back at a good level about his football but he needs to be more on point physically. Standard got new investors this season but except bring the new coach from NY City they didn’t bring that much players.

Genk has a big problems offensively as they have too much choice but with the missing of Onuachu & Ito who left it’s more easy for the coach to make decisions.

In front they can count on Dessers, Paintsill, Oyen & Nemeth.

At home I expect Genk to continue on their last good performance and to win this game.
