Urawa welcomes second division side Kusatsu at the magnificent Saitama Stadium, built for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea. What should be noted is that Kusatsu played three games in three weeks and they have a game again in four days while Urawa after the victory against Fukushima played only one and they are certainly fresher than the guests. Urawa has one of the best fans in Japan, so he will surely have very good support from the stands tomorrow. The host won the Japanese Cup last season, so I can hardly imagine them being eliminated in the 1/16 of the second league team. Urawa has a quality team, there are Danes Junker and Scholz, Karlsson was brought from Sparta Prague while the team is led by Spaniard Rodiguez, who was the best coach in the J1 league last season. Although they did not start the season well in J1 and had many draws, it is primarily because they played AFC where they finished second in the group, behind Korean Daegu. Urawa plays nice, attacking football with a lot of running and they are very strong in their stadium so it is unlikely that Kusatsu will be able to do anything. The guests are in the lower part of the J2 league and they will certainly fight for survival in the league, so I think that the cup does not interest them much and that they will focus on the matches in the league. Urawa is a great team, defending the title in this competition and I don't think they will have much trouble winning this game, the odds are currently 1.65 and I think it's quite decent for the hosts to win.
