On the other hand, Liverpool is forced to win here. They still have chances to win the title: in the last round Man City will face Aston Villa - with two Liverpool legends there - Steven Gerrard on the bench and the confirmed new acquisition - Coutinho, who for sure will try to help their ex-club to win the title.

Liverpool will play against Wolves in the last round, an easy game on paper. Right now are 4 points below Manchester City; 1 if they win here.

The Reds are in amazing form, playing so well and full of confidence. This weekend they won the FA Cup against Chelsea (playing 120 minutes, that’s true) and in a couple of weeks will play the Champions League vs Real Madrid.

Some players are exhausted and will rest here (Salah, Van Dijk, Robertson…) but Liverpool showed that they have a very deep and competitive squad. Some key players like Firmino (who is back from injury) are available to play.

Isn’t needed to say how strong they are in the league, unbeaten in the whole 2022 and losing points only against top teams (Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea). And yes, in many of those victories they played with reserves or mixed squad due to the Champions League or Cup games in the midweek.

They need the three points here in order to have chances to win the title in the last round. Surely they won’t be at 100% but I think they don't need it to beat a team in awful form like Southmpaton, who plays for nothing. It would be a big disgrace to lose here the chances for the PL title after being the whole season fighting for it. The victory is totally mandatory for the Reds and I believe they will achieve it.
