An opportunity to finish in the top half of the league for a team that has ended in the same place in the Dutch top division for the previous several seasons is a sign of improvement. They have played with a lot more organization and confidence since Ole Tobiasen took charge in early 2022, which has shown in most of their games. They haven't lost consecutive games since March, something Tobiasen will likely stress to his players as they prepare to face a team that they defeated 1-0 in August. While they are not the most potent team in the Dutch top tier, they have performed admirably in the final third on their home turf, going unbeaten in their previous four games and scoring three goals in each of their past two home games. Last game they had to watch Ajax scoring 5 goals in their net, but it's Ajax, and is not worth taking that result too much into consideration before the next game.

On the other side, after finishing second in the 2020-21 Eerste Divisie to secure promotion to the top flight, the newly promoted Go Ahead Eagles have enjoyed a promising comeback to the Eredivisie. The first part of the season was fantastic for GA Eagles while the recent results have not gone as the head coach and his side had intended, with four consecutive games decided by a single goal. They've failed to keep their cool in recent games, allowing a match-winning goal after the 70th minute in their last three league games.

It's a simple situation with a bet on Heerenveen. The home team needs to win and are hoping for NEC to fail in their game against relegation-threatened Fortuna Sittard. GA Eagles lost their momentum and this have to be exploited by the home team. If I have to predict a result, I would say 2-1 home team wins after comeback!
