Although Newcastle had shown signs of improvement in their midweek defeat against Leeds, I still feel Everton will have what it takes to earn 3 points in this one.

The main reason for optimism is Everton's full strength attack, where Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin and James Rodrigues are all expected to start from first minutes. Toffees were bossed around for majority of their game against in-form Leicester, but still found a way to pick up points against a superior opposition. If it wasn't for Pickford mistake in goal, who knows what could've happened by the full-time whistle. It would be fair to say, that Ancelotti should be able to field his optimal lineup against Newcastle, long-injured Allan aside. Everyone else is fit.

Everton's recent results also give enough reasons for optimism. They've only lost once in the period of over a month - to tricky and in-form West Ham 0-1. Newcastle is nowhere near the likes of West Ham these days. I am honestly surprised they still have not kicked manager Steve Bruce out as evidently he has little control of the situation and is confidently dragging the team down into the relegation zone. If it wasn't for poor Fulham, Sheffield and West Brom, who occupy the bottom of the table - Newcastle would've had a new manager by now. Those 3 clubs are virtually keeping Bruce in his current role.

Before the Saturday match in Liverpool, Newcastle have lost 5 away games in succession and have been unable to even score for 4 matches in a row on the road. Obviously, this gives visitors little optimism before the test vs. Everton. All things considered, it is really hard to see Newcastle avoiding another loss.
