郭秀云主要贡献

学术成就

他多年来一直从事有限群的研究 , 在正规补子群的存在方面推广了著名的 Brauer-Suzuki定理，并从通常研究的对偶角度出发首次研究正规补的存在，为正规补的研究提供了一种新的研究途径。在可解群的研究方面解决了著名群论专家 Deskins提出的一个猜想。近年来从事极小子群对有限群结构影响的研究，统一并推广了著名的 Burnside定理和 Ito 定理，为进一步刻划某些饱和群系奠定了基础。

科研项目

2002—2004, 发展应用局部方法研究群的结构和攻克若干难题, 国家自然科学基金, 17万。2003—2005, 极小子群的性质与有限群的结构, 上海市自然科学基金, 5万, 主持。2005—2007, 有限群的局部性质与对偶饱和群系, 国家自然科学基金, 主持。
